launched Maporama Brand Search Around, a new powerful marketing tool for brand
promotion directly via Maporama’s popular street maps. Maporama Brand Search
Around is targeted specifically at Internet portals whose revenue model is based
predominantly upon advertising income and is available on all Internet-enabled
devices, including the Web, WAP and PDA.
Maporama Brand Search Around works whenever an Internet user requests a map
through a Maporama affiliated portal. Each time a map or itinerary is generated,
Brand Search Around provides relevant location-based advertising space
integrated within the search box and the resulting map or itinerary, offering
the user a choice of brands in the vicinity represented by each advertiser’s
logo on the Maporama map.
