Wapple lands Cherrysauce as clientA leading supplier of adult content for mobile phones, Cherrysauce, has abandoned traditional site building techniques in favour of Wapple's Canvas tools. Julia Dimambro, md with Cherrysauce explained that she had become sick of talking to the techies when trying to explain what her clients actually wanted. "It's like we speak a different language," she told Mobile Insight. "For example, [using Canvas] we can tweak and optimise navigation and structure using our unique understanding of the erotic consumer. "Previously we'd have to communicate this to a third-party every time we want to make a small change." Canvas isn't just about providing the tools to build an attractive WAP/Mobile site. With Canvas it's possible to add m-commerce, mobile advertising, games, videos and music plus interactive elements such as polls and user feedback. Wapple's Delivery Engine automatically customises and renders mobile internet pages to some 5,000 different mobile handsets but it can also handle most PDAs as well as some hand-held games consoles such as the Sony PSP.
