Spanish language blog site, Clipset.net, has taken down a Youtube video which
showed the an LG phone in action.
The handset is being linked to the LG announcement that it will be supplying a
Youtube-enabled handset in Europe.
A bit of an irony, there. Somebody obviously found what the handset was good
for.
The site now bears a message that reads, "By request of LG, Clipset has decided
to suspend temporarily the video, until its official launch takes place."
The handset has been labelled the KU990 NYX. Its major feature will be the
ability to record video at 120 frames per second. The iPhone may be able to play
back YouTube videos but this thing will be able to upload them too.
That'll be through support for HSPA. They'll also be a Muvee video editor to
edit recorded video clips.
While this is another touch-screen phone, like the Prada, it should also boast a
five megapixel camera and flash – to compete head on with the likes of the Nokia
N95.
The Youtube clip is bound to be archived on Google somewhere.
