Vodafone runs Blackberry F1 competition

The chance to ride with F1 ace, Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is being offered to those who purchase the latest Blackberry Curve 8310 by Vodafone UK. Hamilton's leading the F1 championship so Vodafone obviously think it's onto a winner with the 8310. Did we mention that the 8310 features built-in GPS along with Vodafone's Sat Nav software which is produced in conjunction with Telmap? It uses the Vodafone network to provide information about traffic jams and gives instant access to live traffic alerts. The application also refreshes the maps every three months. The Sat Nav software will be free for a year to anybody who buys the Curve for use with the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) – that's the one for SMEs not corporates who use BES. The Curve is available from the 3rd September exclusively on the Vodafone UK network until 31st October 2007. Depending on which tariff you pick, you can even get the handset for free.
