Bull & Nokia join in 'ESpace' to provide WAP solutions[May 12th 2000] Bull announced today that it has completed a technology agreement with Nokia that will mean the integration of the Nokia WAP server into its new 'ESpace' solution. ESpace is a wireless, Internet and voice enhanced services program developed specifically for Telco service providers and enterprise customers. It works with existing wireless Internet services (my professional services, and my personal services) and will help Telco operators increase customer value and service by enabling the introduction of new services, based on digital technologies and a wireless extension to corporate customers' CRM strategy.Bull is launching ESpace to support the growing demand from the WAP mobile market. Solofo Rafeno, Vice President of Bull Consulting & System Integration Division said: "Bull looks forward to working with Nokia in order to provide a secure & integrated mobile Internet solution which is WAP and SMS compatible. Today, more than 80 million subscribers in Western Europe (IDATE99) can be addressed by wireless Internet services. Therefore, working with Nokia is key for Bull in the mobile market and we are excited at the prospect of leveraging this strong alliance around our ESpace solution."
