Digital Union's EzWireless boosts WAP[April 19th 2000] Digital Union has launched of the latest member of its ezProduct family. ezWireless, pronounced 'easy wireless', is a WAP software extension that will allow information, including corporate e-commerce data, to be displayed via WAP-enabled mobile phones. Developed by Digital Union to extend the reach of its customers, ezWireless allows users of its e-business applications, including ezPortal, ezMerchant and ezMarket, to perform simple commercial transactions and to access critical enterprise data that is tailored to fit the virtual desktop on the WAP phone screen. It supports any business transaction that can be performed using a simple keypad and a small screen. This includes login, e-mail, order tracking and access to selected procedures, including personal applications.Combined with Digital Union's e-business solutions, it gives mobile and remote workers additional powerful means to save time and increase efficiency by instantly performing critical tasks from a simple wireless device.
