Sensei
licenses new WAP Technology From Condat and Au-System
Sensei
Ltd has signed co-operative license agreements with Condat and Sweden’s
AU-System to provide the component technology for Sensei’s WAP-enabled
handsets. Under
its agreement Condat has provided the GSM protocol stacks and currently
collaborate with AU and Sensei in jointly providing the interface for users to
access data services on Sensei’s new GSM multi-band mobile phones. Similarly,
AU-System will supply a WAP browser protocol stack which will enable Sensei’s
GSM 900, DCS 1800 and PCS 1900 phones to deliver advanced WAP (Wireless
Application Protocol) functions such as SMS, USSD and circuit switched data and
e-mail and internet access capabilities. Michael

world’s leading software components suppliers will ensure the delivery of
Sensei’s first WAP-enabled handsets on to the market. With the industry
gearing up for a wave of WAP products next year, we have ensured, with the help

innovations. This will create greater freedom, more choice and easier access for

PDA’s and enabling easier access
for the mobile cellular user to an almost unlimited choice of wireless data
applications and services be it through dedicated applications as organisers or

actively involved in the WAP Forum’s standardisation work with since 1997. Sensei
